Weeknotes 73 - It’s changed something in me
- A few of my colleagues led and facilitated discussions about race at work. Actually talking to other people about their experiences and witnessing their emotions, rather than reading people’s stories or watching them told through videos, has changed something in me. When I read it’s sometimes too easy to end up feeling helpless and wonder: what can I do? But I’m not feeling helpless right now. I’m angry.
- Robin DiAngelo’s White fragility is mandatory viewing. It’s over an hour but that’s still less time than reading an actual book.
- That’s it this week.
