The Last Of Us Part II is so good. So, so good. During one of the in-game trips I found a letter that’s still haunting me. It wasn’t even part of the story, just part of the set. It was so gut-wrenching it broke me.
Cordyceps, the fungal disease that turns people into zombies in The Last of Us, has a very high R number.
Naughty Dog invested a lot of effort into making the game as accessible as possible. As a result I was able to increase the size of subtitles from microscopic to merely visible, and bump up the size of all button hints etc. It’s actually made it playable from the sofa, even without glasses. Accessibility: it’s for everyone. Imagine if every game had readable subtitles.
Animal Crossing missed an opportunity to do a gay wedding season. Seriously, a heteronormative wedding season for all of June? Come on people. Do the maths!
Fenty Beauty’s Invisimatte Blotting Powder is a miracle. My face is very smooth which also makes it quite reflective. I tried blotting papers to reduce the shine, but it’s not the oiliness that’s the real problem. The powder is translucent and in two seconds it makes me look like a professional ready for a video call.
How come autocorrect knows about Apple and Microsoft but not about Fenty Beauty?
I ordered Maya Njie’s scent discovery set and smelling her creations suddenly made me feel so alive. Each one of them is surprising and has richness to it that I can’t really describe. Totally different from mainstream scents. The only problem is that I can’t decide which one is my fave.
I will miss being free from the tyranny of other people seeing what I’m wearing once I start going out in public again. I’ve never loved fashion more than I do now, and I’ve never had more fun with it.
